What the grid shows
Each row is a symbol, and the Columns menu controls which columns are visible, from the basic quote fields to the signal columns. Quote columns cover price, change, range, volume, target and actions. A switch changes the signal view between ORB and VWAP, and Live updates refreshes the market intelligence automatically.
| Column | What it shows | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| ORB signal | Where price is relative to the opening range, with a status such as within the opening range, or a break above or below it. | A break of the opening range is a trigger to investigate, and a symbol still within the range has not chosen a direction. Without a snapshot the column reports none. |
| VWAP signal | The session VWAP, the percentage distance from it and the distance to the trigger level. | Price holding above or below VWAP is context for intraday bias, and the trigger distance shows how close a signal is. |
| Relative strength | How the stock is performing against its benchmark. | Leaders tend to be better candidates on a long watch, laggards on a short watch. |
| Target | The target price you saved for the symbol. | A reminder of your own plan, shown next to the live price. |
Watchlist is included with a paid plan, and the list can hold many symbols with multiple watchlists.
Managing the list
- Add and import. Add symbols one by one or import a CSV to start tracking prices and signals.
- Search and filter. Search by symbol and use the filters to narrow the list. Clear the search or reset the filters if rows seem to be missing.
- Remove. Removing symbols takes them out of the active watchlist.
- Export. Export the list to a file once it contains symbols.
A daily routine
- Build the list from a scan, such as the stock scanner or the breakout screener, rather than from tips.
- Before the open, note the targets and the levels that would invalidate each idea.
- During the session use the ORB view for opening-range behaviour and the VWAP view for bias, with live updates on if you want automatic refresh.
- Look at relative strength to rank the list and drop names that are no longer leading.
- Prune weekly. A watchlist with too many names stops being a shortlist.
Limits
Signals are descriptions of price relative to a range or to VWAP, not predictions, and a signal on a thinly traded stock can be noise. Market intelligence can be temporarily unavailable, in which case the grid shows what it has. See the opening range breakout guide and the VWAP trading guide for how the two signals are defined and confirmed.
