Ultimate Oscillator Oversold (Below 30)
The Ultimate Oscillator, which blends three timeframes of momentum, is below 30. A broad oversold reading. A mean-reversion watch-list, not a buy signal. Liquid stocks only (Rs 5 Cr+).
About This Scan
The Ultimate Oscillator blends momentum from three timeframes into one 0 to 100 reading, which makes it less jumpy than a single-period oscillator. A reading below 30 is the usual oversold level. This scan lists NSE stocks below 30 on Rs 5 Cr of last-session turnover. In a strong downtrend the oscillator can stay low for weeks, so treat the list as a mean-reversion watch-list. The mirror scan is Ultimate Oscillator Overbought. For other oversold views, see RSI Oversold Stocks.

How To Use This Scan
- •Wait for a turn. A green close above the prior candle's high, or the oscillator moving back above 30, is the usual sign that selling is easing.
- •Check the trend. An oversold reading above a rising 200 DMA has a better chance of a bounce than one in a falling stock.
- •Keep the stop below the recent low. This scan has not been back-tested for an edge.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Ultimate Oscillator?
A momentum oscillator from 0 to 100 that combines three timeframes of buying pressure, so one noisy period matters less.
Why 30 and 70?
They are the usual oversold and overbought levels. They are a guide, not a rule.
Is oversold a buy signal?
No. It shows heavy selling. Price can keep falling, so wait for a sign that selling is easing.
