About This Scan
Open = High means a stock has not traded above its opening price all day: the first print is the high and every rally has been sold. This scan lists liquid NSE stocks whose daily open equals the daily high and whose latest candle closes below that open. It reads the official daily candle, so the open and high are the ones on a daily chart, and it re-evaluates with every new candle. Use it as an intraday sell-side watch-list. Its mirror, Open = Low (Buy Side), lists the opposite.

How To Use This Scan
- •Mind the time of day. Early in the session many stocks have open = high by chance, so the list is longest in the first hour and shrinks as bounces appear. Stocks still on the list at midday have held for longer.
- •Narrow the list with a second rule: a gap below yesterday's low, price below VWAP or a volume spike keeps only the weakest opens.
- •The idea is invalid the moment price trades above the open, which gives you a clear stop reference. This scan has not been back-tested for an edge.
