Futures Screener Dashboard
Futures Screener Overview
Track futures participation trends with scenario filters, open interest shifts, and historical comparison once you sign in.Using futures price, OI and volume together
Filter contracts by asset type, expiry and participation scenario, then compare price change with open-interest change. Rising price with rising OI supports long buildup, while falling price with rising OI points to short buildup; falling OI usually signals position reduction instead.
Use historical comparison and traded volume to confirm whether a setup is persistent and liquid enough for further research. Screener classifications are analytical shortlists, not automatic trade entries.
Multi-condition futures screener for NSE and MCX
The Futures Screener combines price, open-interest and volume conditions to create a shortlist of contracts matching the selected thresholds. Use it to compare changes across the available index, stock and commodity futures universe.
Set the contract scope, timeframe and thresholds consistently, then examine each result's expiry, absolute activity and chart. A conjunction of filters is a defined research question, not proof of predictive accuracy. Rising OI indicates more outstanding contracts with buyers and sellers on both sides; it does not independently confirm bullish participation.
How do I screen futures by open interest and volume together?
Combine the OI-change filter with the volume filter in one scan — for example, OI change above 10% and volume above twice the recent average. The screener requires every active condition to hold simultaneously, which is what separates confirmed positioning from one-factor noise that simpler screeners return.
What price scenarios can the futures screener filter on?
Price-change bands (up more than, down more than, or within a range), gap conditions, proximity to session or period highs and lows, and distance-type measures depending on the active filter set. Scenarios compose with the OI and volume filters, so stage-of-move and positioning conditions can be combined freely.
Does the screener include MCX commodity futures?
Yes. Index futures, NSE stock futures and MCX commodities all pass through the same filter engine, so cross-market scans — for example unusual OI expansion anywhere, equity or commodity — are a single query.
