Top Losers Today (-3% or worse)
Liquid stocks (Rs 5 Cr+ traded) down 3% to 25% against the previous official close. Falls beyond 25% are skipped because they are mostly splits and bonus issues. Same list on every interval.
About This Scan
Top losers are the stocks falling the most today. This scan lists NSE stocks that are down 3% to 25% against the previous official close, limited to liquid names with at least Rs 5 Cr traded in the last session. Falls beyond 25% are left out because they are mostly splits, bonus issues and other corporate actions, not real selling. The change is measured on the daily candle, so the list is the same on every interval and updates through the session. The mirror scan is Top Gainers Today.

How To Use This Scan
- •Find out why a stock is down: results, a rating cut, a block deal, a sector move or a market-wide sell-off all need different handling.
- •Compare the list with the index. On a broad sell-off most losers fall with the market, while stock-specific losers fall against it.
- •Add a rule such as price near the day's low or volume above 2x to find the stocks still under pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the fall measured?
As the percent change from the previous official close to the latest price. After the close it uses the official closing price, which on NSE is a weighted average of the last 30 minutes, so it can differ from the last traded price.
Why are falls above 25% skipped?
Most are corporate-action adjustments such as splits or bonus issues, where the price drops but no value is lost. A smaller adjustment can still slip through, so check the news.
Why is the list so long on some days?
On a broad sell-off many stocks fall more than 3%. Raise the threshold in the screener, for example to -5%, to see only the sharpest falls.
