Supertrend Buy Signal (Fresh Flip)
Supertrend turns bullish on the latest candle after the previous candle was bearish, with price above the Supertrend line. The first candle of a new Supertrend uptrend.
About This Scan
Supertrend trails price and flips direction when price closes through it, so a flip is a clear, rule-based trend-change signal. This scan lists NSE stocks where the Supertrend direction is bullish on the latest candle after being bearish on the previous candle, with price above the Supertrend line and turnover of at least Rs 5 Cr. It shows the first candle of a new Supertrend uptrend, not stocks that have been bullish for weeks.

How To Use This Scan
- •Use the Supertrend line as the stop reference. A close back below it flips the signal to sell.
- •Flips in a sideways market reverse often. A flip above a rising 50 or 200 DMA has a stronger backdrop.
- •Change the interval to 15m or 1h for shorter-term trades. Its mirror is Supertrend Sell Signal.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Supertrend buy signal?
The indicator switches from bearish to bullish, which happens when price closes above the Supertrend line.
Is it different from the Supertrend Bullish Reclaim scan?
Yes. This scan shows only fresh flips on the daily chart. Bullish Reclaim lists F&O stocks already above a bullish Supertrend with momentum, on 15-minute candles.
How often does it flip?
Often in range-bound markets and rarely in strong trends. Treat each flip as a signal to check the chart, not a trade by itself.
