Stocks Under Rs 100 Falling on Volume (2%+)
Stocks priced at Rs 100 or less that closed down 2% or more on at least average volume, with Rs 5 Cr+ traded in the last session. Low price is not low risk: these stocks can move fast in both directions.
About This Scan
Low-priced stocks attract many traders, and they also fall fast. This scan lists NSE stocks that close at Rs 100 or less, are down 2% or more on the day and trade on at least their average volume, with Rs 5 Cr or more traded in the last session. The turnover rule removes thin stocks. A low share price does not make a stock cheap or safe: the price per share says nothing about value. Use the list to review holdings or to avoid catching a falling stock. The mirror scan is Stocks Under Rs 100 Rising on Volume.

How To Use This Scan
- •Check why the stock fell: results, news, a sector move or a block deal. A fall on heavy volume without a reason deserves a closer look at the chart.
- •If you hold the stock, compare the fall with your stop and with the nearest support.
- •Avoid averaging down only because the price looks cheaper. This scan has not been back-tested for an edge and is not a recommendation to sell any stock.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are stocks under Rs 100 cheap?
Not necessarily. The price per share depends on how many shares exist. A Rs 50 stock can be expensive against its earnings and a Rs 5,000 stock cheap.
Why is the list short?
Three rules apply together: price at or below Rs 100, a fall of 2% or more on at least average volume, and Rs 5 Cr of traded value.
Can I change the price limit?
Yes. Load the scan in the screener and edit the Close rule, for example to Rs 50 or Rs 200.
