About This Scan
ADX measures how strong a trend is, not which way it points, and 25 is the usual line between a weak trend and a strong one. This scan lists NSE stocks whose ADX moved above 25 within the last two candles, so the trend has only just become strong. The direction comes from price: the close is below the 20 EMA and the 20 EMA is below the 50 EMA. Turnover must be at least Rs 5 Cr. The mirror scan is ADX Crossing 25: New Uptrend.
