Price Up With High Volume and High Delivery
Closed up 2% or more on 1.5x volume with at least half of the traded shares taken for delivery. A strong day with investor-type participation. Liquid stocks only (Rs 5 Cr+).
About This Scan
Delivery percentage is the share of traded volume that was actually taken delivery of, not squared off the same day. A rise on heavy volume with a high delivery percentage is often read as investor-type buying rather than day-trading churn. This scan lists NSE stocks up 2% or more against the previous official close, on at least 1.5 times normal volume and with 50% or more of the shares delivered, on Rs 5 Cr of last-session turnover. Delivery data is published after the close, so the list reflects the last completed session. The mirror scan is Price Down With High Delivery.

How To Use This Scan
- •Check the news and results calendar. Delivery spikes often follow results, block deals or index changes.
- •Look at where the stock closed in its range and at the nearest resistance. A rise into resistance can stall even with strong delivery.
- •One session is a clue, not a trend. See whether the next sessions hold the gain. This scan has not been back-tested for an edge.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is delivery percentage?
The part of the day's traded shares that went to delivery. A higher number means fewer shares were squared off intraday.
Does high delivery mean the price will keep rising?
No. It shows that more investors than usual took delivery that day. What happens next depends on the sessions that follow.
Why does it not update during the session?
Delivery data is only known after the close, so intraday runs show the last completed session.
