Understanding Strike Migration Tracker
This tool is built for one of the most practical intraday questions in options trading: is the structure staying where it opened, or is it migrating to new strikes? It tracks where modeled flow concentration and visible OI are moving through the session, then highlights likely new magnet zones. It is intentionally heuristic. There is no exchange-defined 'magnet' metric, so the value comes from watching concentration move rather than treating the number as a certainty.

Watch for: A spike that appears in only one snapshot can be noise from a temporary trade or a stale IV input rather than a true structural migration.
Centroid and Magnet Drift
What it shows: The path of spot, the OI centroid, the flow centroid, and the current magnet strike through time.
How to use it: If the flow centroid leads the OI centroid, fresh risk is often moving before the slower open-interest picture fully reflects it.
Watch for: Spot can overshoot a magnet in fast markets. Use this chart as a structural map, not a pinning guarantee.
Latest Migration Table
What it shows: Which strikes gained or lost the most share and net flow in the latest visible transition.
How to use it: Focus on the top delta-share and delta-flow strikes near current spot. That is usually where the next tactical decision zone forms.
Watch for: A large migration at distant strikes can matter less than a smaller migration close to spot if the latter is more tradeable today.

The first useful read is usually whether new concentration is building back near spot or whether the opening structure is being abandoned.
Compare OI and flow centroids
If flow moves first while OI stays behind, the market may be repricing faster than static OI tables suggest. That often improves the value of intraday structure tools.

A migrating magnet is best used as a likely engagement area, not as a precise pin. Watch acceptance, tape quality, and volume around it.
Re-validate into expiry
Late-session or expiry rolls can shift the map quickly. A valid noon magnet can become irrelevant by the close if the chain rotates hard.
