How to read this chart

Three things to check before you trade off the numbers.

  1. Buy and sell legs

A bull call spread buys the lower call and sells the higher call; a bear put spread buys the higher put and sells the lower one. Choosing different expiries turns the spread into a diagonal.

  2. Breakeven and max profit

For a same-expiry debit spread the maximum loss is the net debit and the maximum profit is the strike width minus the debit, both at expiry. Breakeven is the buy strike plus (calls) or minus (puts) the debit.

  3. Sessions and replay

Turn Live off to pick a session date and replay the archived snapshots. Spread prices use last traded prices, which can differ from executable quotes.
