Reversal1D CANDLESALL SEGMENT3 FILTERS
Mean Reversion Long
Oversold conditions near support zone for bounce candidates.
About This Scan
Mean reversion is the discipline of buying panic, cheaply: oversold RSI plus price sitting on classic S1 support, but not in freefall. This scan finds NSE stocks in that pocket — where the next session's stabilisation typically produces a snapback toward the mean.
Scan Rules
Stock passes all of the below filters in the ALL segment using 1D candles:
- 1.RSI less than or equal to 32
- 2.Close within 1.2% of Classic S1
- 3.Daily Change Percent greater than or equal to -2.5
How To Use This Scan
- •Enter on stabilisation, never in mid-air — demand a green candle or gap-up open first.
- •Target the 20-day EMA; that is where mean reversion usually stalls.
- •Hard stop below S1 — if support breaks, the thesis is void.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is mean reversion in stock trading?
