Breakout screener for NSE stocks

The Breakout Screener identifies stocks approaching or crossing the price levels defined by its selected setup rules. Proximity, structure and volume information help distinguish forming candidates from stocks already far beyond a level.

Inspect the chart, timeframe and whether the break is based on an unfinished candle. A move above resistance can fail or gap beyond a practical entry price. Check the reference level, liquidity and invalidation instead of treating a high setup score as a probability of continuation.

What is a breakout stock screener?

A screener that lists stocks currently crossing above established resistance levels — prior highs, range tops or pattern completion levels — instead of merely trending up. This screener adds proximity and base-quality filters so the list contains setups approaching or just clearing levels, not stocks already far extended from their breakout point.

How do you confirm a breakout is genuine?

Three confirmations: volume expansion at the level (participation, not drift), a level that was tested before (multi-touch resistance carries more traders behind it), and acceptance — price holding above the broken level on retest rather than immediately reclaiming it. The screener surfaces candidates; these confirmations filter them.

Why does proximity to the breakout level matter?

Entries nearest the level offer the tightest invalidation: if the breakout fails, the loss is small by definition. Stocks already far above their breakout level have consumed the initial move and offer poor reward-to-risk on entry — which is why this screener ranks by proximity rather than raw gain.
